How To Setup an Instant Reply For Your Facebook Page
So first things first: What are the new Facebook page feature instant replies?
According to Facebook: When Instant Replies are turned on, people will receive an automatic response when they message your Page.
Basically Instant Replies are a one email autoresponder for your Facebook page.
These messages are like a boomerang since they send automatically as soon as someone messages you.
Setting this new feature up is super simple and can be done in less than five minutes.
The odds are you already have a notification at the top of your page suggesting that you “turn on instant replies.” The image below shows what this notification looked like for me.
If you do not see this notification or accidentally closed it you can access the instant replies feature via the messaging tab of your settings panel.
Once you are on this page click the checkbox that says turn on instant replies.
After checking this box the save reply button will turn blue and you’ll be able to enter a message that is up to 250 characters.
The image below shows what the instant replies customization panel looks like.
A feature you should be aware of and utilize is the Add Personalization feature.
This enables you to automatically include the persons first name, last name, and/or your website address into your instant reply.
I recommend using the persons first name in your reply.
To make the most of this message you can use it to increase an important conversion element for your brand by including a call to action in your reply.
