Creating a custom Facebook cover photo is one of the most compelling things you can do to make your Facebook page or profile really POP.
My #1 tip for when you are designing a 851 x 315 pixel cover photo is: to remember that your profile picture will take up a large chunk of space on the left side of your cover photo.
This tip seems obvious but it is easy to overlook before you upload your cover photo to your page, so keep it in mind.

The cover photo dimensions are not right anymore. 23 px gap, 210 px, etc is not right.

friends wall. it only looks ok when viewed on my own timeline.
